KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 15: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today chaired a District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting here.
The meeting reviewed the performance of banks and line departments during first quarter ended June 30, 2020 of Financial Year 2020-21 under Annual Credit Plan and government schemes.
The progress and achievements made by the banks in the implementation of various government sponsored schemes like Kisan Credit Card, NRLM, Housing for all, Handloom, Weavers MUDRA, SHGs, JLGs, Artisan Credit Card, and Stand Up India besides other sponsored schemes, loans provided by banks under direct lending mode was also discussed in the meeting
During the meeting it was informed that under District Annual Credit Plan, Banks have disbursed Rs.140.90 Cr to 7800 beneficiaries thus achieving 9% of ACP target.
The DDC while reviewing sector wise achievement, advised Banks to improve credit dispensations in Agriculture and allied sectors, MSME, housing and education sectors.
He directed all the concerned to ensure that cent percent farmers are covered under KCC by 30th Sep 2020.
The DDC also urged for proper and timely implementation of Govt. Schemes PMEGP, REGP, NRLM, NULM and PMAY to generate self-employment opportunities in the district.
Bhat strongly advised Banks for speedy disposal of cases to the best convenience of people and impressed upon them to cover all eligible persons under PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY like national security schemes.
On the Occasion PLP was presented by DDM NABARD for preparing ACP 2021-22 which was approved.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, JD-Planning, District officers of the line departments, LDM LEAD Bank, DDM NABARD and District Coordinators of various Banks besides other concerned.
